Dr. Sapana Kothary
General Family Dentist
Dr. Kothary graduated in 1991 from Indiana University (Bloomington) with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She finished her dental school in 1995 from Northwestern University in Chicago. She then completed a year of general practice residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Kothary has been in active practice since 1996.
Dr Kothary performs all aspects of general dentistry ranging from regular cleanings and check-ups to full mouth reconstruction. She is a Premier provider with Invisalign and has completed hundreds of successful cases. She is also certified with placing and restoring implants, veneers and a variety of laser procedures.
Dr. Raoul Shah
General Family Dentist
Dr. Raoul Shah has been practicing dentistry since 2000. He graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School and has been working in private practice ever since. He relocated from the east coast in 2005 and took over Mowry Dental Group in 2006. Dr. Shah is a member of numerous organizations and strives to better himself and his dentistry through continuing education.
Dr. Raoul Shah has been married to his wife, Neha for 5 years and has two beautiful children, Kayan and Jaisen.
Dr. Siamak Madani is a specialist in the fields of periodontics and dental implants. He completed both his dental school training and specialty program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduating he moved to the bay area and has been in practice here since 1993. Dr. Madani is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration and has been involved with dental implants for many years. He speaks fluent English, French, and Farsi and has degrees in Microbiology, History, French Language and Business Administration. His interests include skiing, soccer, camping, and hiking.
Dr. Monica Chmiel
Dr. Chmiel was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors. She continued her education receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004 at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. Dr. Chmiel attended the orthodontic program at the University of California San Francisco, receiving her Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics. Following her residency, Dr. Chmiel practiced in the Bay Area for almost a decade before opening her own practice. She is an active member of many professional affiliations including American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists. Her lifelong commitment to learning involves spending significant time attending conferences and continuing education courses to continue to provide the most advanced treatment possible. She strives to create a positive environment where patients are happy and feel well taken care of. Her passion is to educate, motivate and communicate with patients to achieve healthy lasting bites and beautiful smiles together.
